Stagot is the delighted contributor of the “Make in India” initiative. We now ship our product to over 8 nations around the world. Stagot can proudly proclaim that it is an Indian company with international standards.
History
Stagot is positioned as India’s first-ever manufacturer of native potato starch, with origins in Gujarat’s fertile potato fields in the Banaskantha region and a global reach. Stagot is encouraging ethical values and responsibility for our society, farmers, and the environment by reaching out to people from all areas of life, no matter who they are or where they reside.
Stagot’s remarkable journey began in 2015, when we discovered that India needed to develop its own native potato starch to meet the country’s demand for the product and to prevent high-quality potato loss due to lower demand and consumption.
As a result, Stagot was founded with the purpose of creating, developing, producing, and marketing high-quality potatoes and items with the goal of extracting as much value as possible from potatoes.
