Stagot is India’s first and foremost company to extract native starch from potatoes with state of art, starchology and firmly rooted in Gujarat’s rich land. In 2015, entrepreneurs noticed the potential of potatoes and decided that India should develop its own international-standard native potato starch to meet the country’s needs while also reducing high-quality potato waste. The most safe, healthy, and highest quality native potato starch of global standards is the result of a great combination of traditional farmer knowledge and our enthusiasm, dedication, and expertise.

Raw materials:

The best way to produce high-quality native potato starch is to choose a raw material that meets the end product’s standard criteria. We have a steady supply of quality-controlled raw materials with native farmers from banaskantha district – a land of best quality starch potatoes, which helps us improve the quality of our components. We have entire control of the supply chain on a contract farming basis with farmers.
From the farmer’s perspective, producing potato starch implies that the entire harvest is delivered directly to the manufacturer, eliminating the need for potato storage, as well as marketing and sales activity and storage losses. Our production of native starch potatoes is dependent on long-term contracts and obligations with farmers.

Our facilities are outfitted with the modern, cutting-edge, and dynamic machinery sourced from all around the world.Our raw material is stored in a modified environment cold storage facility to reduce respiration, slow microbial development, and reduce the enzymatic spoiling, which all help to extend the raw material’s shelf life.Our manufacturing plant is equipped with PLC-based completely automated ultra-modern technology sourced from around the world to ensure minimal human interference and waste, resulting in a product that meets global standards.
